This pair of sneakers is utterly ridiculous!! The sole is made of styrofoam (119.95$ worth sneakers) and even for a few steps they are making squeaky sounds. What a joke! Such a rip off! My helper was having a good laugh looking at these soles made of styrofoam. I hope they won't fall apart after 10 m walk.

The ridiculous part is I cannot even exchange (let alone return) as they are from "outlet" even though I didn't see any information about that prior to my purchase.

We’re sorry that you’re disappointed with your new Scholl Maggie’s. We set ourselves a high standard and want everyone who buys a pair of our shoes to absolutely love them. So it’s disappointing in this circumstance that we’ve missed the mark.

We would however like to take this chance to clear a few things up. The sole might look like styrofoam, but it’s actually made out of EVA. This is a purpose built durable foam (fun fact: it was actually invented by NASA) that works great in footwear. You’ll see very similar technology in Adidas Ultra Boosts, Asics Novablasts and Nike Infinity Runs etc. So it’s pretty standard across the industry.

As far as the squeak goes, this can be an issue with fitting. If you like, we could send you out some shoe fillers which you could place under your footbed to sort this out free of charge.

Finally, these shoes aren’t actually on our outlet program, meaning $119.95 was the full price. The good news is that if you purchased these within the last 30 days you’ll fall under our returns and exchanges program.
